How did Gateways prepare you for your future?

Gateways prepared me for the rigor of medical school and helped to establish my professional identity. My Gateways classes on health equity and social determinants of health helped plant the seeds for my current research. I am forever grateful for my time at Gateways.


What advice do you have for current/future Gateways Master of Medical
Sciences students?

Listen to and try applying all the advice given to you by your advisors and Dr. Anandarajah. Remember as "bouncers" - if things are hard at times, you can bounce back and the Gateways team will help you reach your goals if you let them in.
