How did Gateways prepare you for your future?

In addition to supporting my medical school applications, Gateways aided my preparation for the MCAT and boosted my learning skills before beginning a medical school curriculum. Topics I learned at Gateways helped me pass STEP 1 three years later. The capstone also gave me a better understanding of the research process as I sought future projects. 

What advice do you have for current/future Gateways Master of Medical Sciences students?

My advice to future students is to use the time at Gateways to try different study methods and find the parts of medicine that excite you—these will be great to discuss in application essays and as you begin to meet people in the medical field.
